The District Attorney’s Office for Osage and Pawnee Counties is seeking a highly motivated, ethical, and professional attorney to serve as an Assistant District Attorney in the Osage County office. This position offers an immediate opportunity to handle, with supervision and support, serious victim-centered prosecutions involving domestic violence, sexual violence, and crimes against children. Recent law school graduates and applicants who recently sat for the Oklahoma bar exam are encouraged to apply. The office will consider a conditional offer for the right candidate, contingent upon bar passage, admission to practice, and completion of any applicable hiring requirements. The position will involve close work with victims, law enforcement, child welfare, child advocacy centers, victim advocates, forensic interviewers, medical providers, and courthouse personnel. We are looking for someone who is eager to fight for justice for victims, protect the public, and develop as a courtroom prosecutor. Prior prosecution experience is helpful but not required. The right candidate must have strong judgment, excellent work ethic, high ethical standards, professionalism, and a genuine desire to do meaningful courtroom work.
