About The Position

Make a difference in a child's life - and your own. We are looking for an experienced Assistant Director to assist with operations of Kiddie Academy of Seattle at Greenwood. You will be part of the management team and you will work closely with the Academy Director to guide a passionate team of child care professionals who make a meaningful difference in the lives of children. In this role you will assist and support the Director in all aspects of management of the Academy including human resource development, staff scheduling, program planning, program implementation and evaluation; student assessments, family relations, marketing, enrollments and academy operations.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of full time experience in managing center-based programs in an Assistant Director or similar management role.
• A thorough knowledge of WA Licensing regulations (WACs) for child care centers and a great understanding of developmentally-appropriate practices
• Must have at least an AA degree in child care or management, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Action oriented, organized, strategic thinker, focused on getting the right things done
