Assistant Director
About The Position
As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Rowville – Murrindal Drive, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Director to working in a full-time between the centre’s operating hours of 6:30am – 6:30pm, to join our Exceeding-rated, 54-place centre in Goodstart Rowville – Murrindal Drive. Working alongside the Centre Director, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of the centre while inspiring a team of educators to deliver high-quality early learning. Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Director or in a centre leadership position, or similar
- Must have or obtain a valid working with children check
Responsibilities
- Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
- Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
- Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
- Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
