About The Position

The Assistant Director is responsible, in partnership with the School Director, for the safe and effective operation of the school and for advancing Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The role also supports the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children. The Assistant Director helps ensure compliance with company and state licensing standards, fosters a caring and safe environment for children and parents, promotes the company’s image, recruits and retains quality staff, and helps achieve profitability.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 2 years of Assistant Director experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Must meet state education requirements and center/school requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field is preferred.
