Requirements

• Previous experience that includes plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and capital project management.
• Multi-Family Residential property experience required.
• Current, Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance – driving record must meet eligibility requirements.
• Universal certification is required.
• Customer service skills and the ability to develop a rapport with the residents and community staff.
• Analytical ability, problem solving and organization skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and must be available on an as-needed basis for after hours and on-call emergency services.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management, response, correction, and reporting for urgent/emergencies situations
• Perform, manage, and inspect projects and tasks as assigned
• Document and report project and task status
• Implement training as part of projects and tasks
• Assist with scope evaluation and contract oversight
• When required and directed, assist property operations with day-to-day maintenance/ management responsibilities
• Assist policy/procedure compliance
• Make cost and time saving recommendations for project and operations throughout portfolio
• Assist and train on-site maintenance teams
• Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments.
• Ensures maintenance and repair work is completely safely, effectively, and in a timely manner.
• Maintains current knowledge in the field of facilities maintenance
