About The Position

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Lynbrook, you will leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. You will collaborate with the dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with local community networks. This role involves supporting the Centre Director in leading the team to provide high-quality early learning and care, mentoring and building capabilities within the centre team, and being responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence. You will also use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide. Goodstart Lynbrook is a 120-space centre where you will interact with different children and families daily. It offers off-street parking and is located within local shopping centres, close to major transport routes and public transport. There is an opportunity to participate in our bush kinder and other educational programs.

Requirements

• Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Experience leading teams to excellence
• Current Vic Working with Children Check
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as an Assistant Director or in a centre leadership position, or similar
