About The Position

Are you a natural-born leader looking to support and guide a dedicated team of educators in a Centre Leadership role? At Green Leaves Early Learning, we take pride in placing our teams and children at the heart of everything we do. As the Assistant Director, your role is key to building a positive, warm, fun, and welcoming culture in which our Green Leaves Commitments are embedded in everything we do! You will use your masterful leadership skills to support the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre, guide the team in the development and delivery of high-quality programs that inspire and nurture young minds, and actively mentor and develop the team in line with best practice.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Director (preferred, not essential)
  • Knowledge and experience with QikKids and StoryPark (or similar equivalent platforms)
  • A current ACECQA-approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or above
  • Current WA Working with Children's Check
  • Current WA Child Protection and National Child Safety Training Certificates
  • Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012)
  • National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months
  • Proda ID and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Must be available to work rotating shifts that may start as early as 6:30 am and finish as late as 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Director (preferred, not essential)
  • Experiences working with children with disabilities
  • Experiences working with children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
  • Experiences with Aboriginal children and communities

  • Work alongside our National Learning, Research and Development Partners to provide the support and guidance to your teams across all things Pedagogy, including areas like Inclusion Support, Wellbeing and Sustainability
