As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Little Mountain – Mark Road West, you'll work alongside our Centre Director to support the day-to-day operations of the centre while helping to build a positive, high-performing team culture. You'll use your leadership experience and passion for early learning to mentor educators, support quality practice, strengthen family relationships, and drive continuous improvement across the centre.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Director, Centre Leader, Senior Educator, or in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills
- Current QLD Working with Children Check
- Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via the Geccko platform
- Passion for delivering exceptional outcomes for children, families, and teams
Responsibilities
- Support the Centre Director in leading a team that delivers high-quality early learning and care
- Mentor and build capability within the centre team
- Lead centre operations in the Centre Director's absence
- Champion and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
- Build strong relationships with families and the local community
- Drive continuous improvement across all aspects of centre operations
