As the Assistant Director, you will assist the leadership team in implementing and supporting a high-quality program of care and education for the children, families and faculty in our school community. Requirements

Early Childhood Professional Credential 3.0 Level 3 or higher
Knowledge of Colorado licensing regulations
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to supervise children while maintaining sight and sound supervision
Ability to perform classroom support duties, including diapering and toileting when necessary
Ability to lead staff through emergencies and crisis situations
Commitment to maintaining a positive school culture
A current physical examination by a physician
An approved criminal background check, including, without limitation, a Criminal Record and FBI Check as required by the Colorado Department of Human Services
Reference check
Submission of a medical statement signed by a licensed physician or other health care professional dated no more than six months prior to your employment and no later than 14 days past your hire date, verifying that you are in good mental, physical, and emotional health appropriate for this position

Responsibilities

Support the Director of Education and Director of Operations in maintaining a high-quality early childhood program.
Ensure compliance with Colorado licensing, health, and safety regulations.
Recruit, develop, coach, and support teaching staff.
Conduct classroom observations and support curriculum implementation.
Build strong relationships with families and serve as a school ambassador.
Assist with enrollment, tours, and community outreach efforts.
Support school operations, scheduling, and program administration.
