The Assistant Director, Social Media serves as the day-to-day manager and content lead for the Division of University Advancement’s social media presence, with a strong focus on Miami University’s alumni-facing accounts. This role is responsible for creating engaging, platform-optimized content, actively managing online communities, and staying ahead of emerging social media trends to enhance alumni engagement and connection. As part of the Multi-Channel Creative team, the assistant director will report directly to the Associate Director, Multi-Channel Creative, and collaborate closely with designers, writers, and marketing strategists to develop compelling storytelling that highlights alumni experiences, promotes key initiatives, and strengthens the Miami alumni community. This is a full-time, fixed-term position supported by limited-term funding currently available through June 30, 2030. Continuation beyond that date will depend on available funding and business need.
