This position along with the Assistant Director for Residential Life anticipates students’ needs and advises the Director in developing housing and residential programming, providing resources, and assessing outcomes for student success. The Assistant Director for Academic Success and Residential Engagement is responsible for creating a supportive living environment that promotes academic achievement, personal growth, and community engagement among students. This role involves collaborating with faculty, staff, and students to develop and implement programs that enhance the academic experience within the residence halls. The Assistant Director will serve as a mentor and resource for students, helping them navigate academic challenges and achieve their educational goals. The Assistant Director will also provide supervision to professional and student staff, including leadership development and engagement through Residence Hall Association (RHA), National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH), and thematic living-learning initiatives.
