Under the general direction of the Center for Equity for English Learner's Director, the Assistant Director, Professional Learning, will collaborate on Center projects in the areas of leadership development, teacher development, coaching, Spanish curriculum design and implementation, and policy initiatives. This role involves supporting and engaging in the Professional Learning Branch's planning, coordination, and implementation efforts, and providing input for the strategic direction of professional learning across various educational settings, with an emphasis on dual language and bilingual education. The position also entails providing instructional and programmatic technical assistance to partner districts, creating and supporting biliteracy curricular materials, leading certificate programs, developing and facilitating professional learning programs, serving as instructor of record for Academic Spanish Courses, coordinating project data management, and guiding professional learning consultants.
