About The Position

The Village of Erin Meadows is seeking an Assistant Director of Wellness – Retirement to join their team. This role provides oversight and support leadership for the clinical services of Retirement, leads assigned clinical programs, and acts as the Wellness Coordinator in their absence. The position involves specific neighbourhood oversight, including HCA, Service Plans, Move In, Re-Admission assessments, and clinical follow-up. The ideal candidate will support and embrace a resident-centred social culture and deliver high-quality service.

Requirements

• Be in good standings with the CNO and hold a valid RPN license.

Nice To Haves

• Geriatric nursing experience.
• Nursing leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and support leadership for the clinical services of Retirement.
• Lead assigned clinical programs including tracking and analyzing trends, leading education, and managing quality improvement of the program.
• Act as the Wellness Coordinator in his or her absence which includes directing all aspects of the nursing and clinical department.
• Have specific Neighbourhood oversight and/or clear expectations which include HCA, Service Plans, Move In, Re-Admission assessments, clinical follow up and support for assigned Neighbourhood team(s).
