About The Position

The Village of Tansley Woods located in Burlington, Ontario has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director of Wellness – Retirement to join their team. This is a Permanent Full-Time position. The hiring range for this role is $59,740 to $66,000. Requirements

  • Be in good standings with the CNO and hold a valid RPN license.

Nice To Haves

  • Geriatric nursing experience.
  • Nursing leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and support leadership for the clinical services of Retirement.
  • Lead assigned clinical programs including tracking and analyzing trends, leading education, and managing quality improvement of the program.
  • Act as the Wellness Coordinator in his or her absence which includes directing all aspects of the nursing and clinical department.
  • Have specific Neighbourhood oversight and/or clear expectations which include HCA, Service Plans, Move In, Re-Admission assessments, clinical follow up and support for assigned Neighbourhood team(s).
  • Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support.
