Group Reinsurance Plus (GRP), a segment of the Employee Benefits Division at The Hartford, partners with insurance carriers and health plans to deliver private label employee benefits and reinsurance solutions. We’re looking for a growth-minded sales professional who thrives at the intersection of market insight, consultative solutioning, and disciplined execution. As an Assistant Director of Sales & Business Development, you’ll work closely with the Director of Sales & Business Development to support GRP’s growth strategy, driving new client acquisition, strengthening prospect engagement, and delivering compelling proposals that convert opportunities into long-term partnerships. Role Overview As an Assistant Director of Sales & Business Development, you’ll support GRP’s go-to-market efforts by managing prospecting and pipeline activity, coordinating RFPs, and developing market-ready proposals and presentation materials. You’ll partner across underwriting, product, actuarial, implementation, and marketing to position GRP’s value proposition with carriers, health plans, and intermediaries.
