About The Position

As a full time Assistant Director of Residential Services you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Residential Services. You will be essential in shaping and enhancing the development and daily operations of the Residential Program.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in human services or related field.
Three years' experience working in residential services.
One year of supervisory experience.
Must possess a current, valid New York State driver's license that meets the Agency driver standards.
Ability to deal with people at all organizational levels.
Good administrative, analytical and organizational problem-solving.
Good oral and written communication skills, and an aptitude for directing and motivating people.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the onboarding, development, and supervision of Senior Residence Supervisors.
Provides direct guidance and oversight of significant staffing issues.
Responsible for regular internal auditing to monitor and ensure program compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
Reviews all internal audit findings and assists in the preparation of responses to include plans for corrective action. Monitors corrective action to assess fulfillment.
Participates in administrative on-call rotation for after-hours as needed.
Assumes responsibility for the Residential Department in the absence of the Director of Residential Services.
Performs direct support responsibilities as needed in emergency situations.
Assist with the development and implementation of Residential Specific trainings
