The Assistant Director of Public Programs manages the development, implementation, and evaluation of public exhibition and collection-related programming for all ages, in pursuit of lifelong learning through the exploration of art at the Art Museum. These include, but are not limited to, lectures, panel discussions, gallery talks, and art-making studio programs. This position will also be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of two large annual programs - Summer Camp and the 10x10 Teen Art Show, and the museum's monthly CAM Kids Day program- As well as other programs that may arise. This position works cooperatively with other museum colleagues and the community to develop engaging and accessible programming. This position is considered the museum’s key staff member for expertise related to current theories and practices in public programming.
