About The Position

Camp Lincoln is seeking an Assistant Director of Operations and Staffing to join our year-round leadership team in North-Central Minnesota. This position leads seasonal staff recruitment and supports staff development, operational coordination, and planning throughout the year. Working closely with camp leadership, you will help build a prepared and supported seasonal team and keep daily camp operations organized. Your work will contribute directly to a positive experience for campers and staff. Camp Lincoln is part of Cote Hospitality, a family-owned company with camp, resort, and hospitality operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CampMinder or ADP is a plus.
Interest in supporting the development of young people and seasonal staff.

Nice To Haves

Residential summer camp leadership experience strongly preferred.
Experience in recruiting, hiring, human resources, or onboarding preferred.

Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard seasonal staff in coordination with camp leadership.
Coordinate staff orientation, training, and ongoing development.
Support staff scheduling, logistics, communication, and day-to-day needs.
Coordinate supplies, purchasing, vehicles, and other operational resources.
Help create a welcoming work environment where staff receive clear expectations, feedback, and support.
Support recruiting outreach and camp marketing efforts.
Contribute to year-round planning and preparations for the summer season.
Gather postseason feedback and recommend improvements to staffing and operations.
