About The Position

A skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced registered nurse to serve as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). The facility provides short- and long-term rehabilitation, wound care, dementia care, and other skilled nursing services. The ADON works with clinical staff to facilitate quality resident care, support positive clinical outcomes, oversee clinical teams, and collaborate with key partners to establish goals for sub-acute settings. The role is also accountable for regulatory compliance, staffing, and fiscal responsibilities.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• At least two years of experience in a nursing management role at a long-term care facility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and oversee facility functions on a daily basis.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Familiarity with IDPH regulations.
• Familiarity with JCAHO regulations.
• Good organizational skills.
• Knowledge of skilled care.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate quality care for residents in collaboration with clinical staff.
