About The Position

Heritage Senior Living is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to inspire and lead a team of caring professionals in providing exceptional senior care. This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, making a positive impact and bringing joy to others. The ADON will assist the Director of Nursing in organizing, directing, and overseeing resident care in compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations, aiming for the best resident care and outcomes.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain throughout employment a Registered Nursing or Licensed Practical Nursing license issued by the State Board of Nursing.
• Caring & compassionate attitude for others
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to connect with residents, families, and coworkers
• Strong ability to problem solve and communicate complex issues
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Nursing experience (assisted living, elderly care, long term care, hospice, and/or memory care)

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Director of Nursing with organizing, directing, and overseeing the care of residents.
• Ensuring care is provided in compliance with facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Striving to provide the best resident care and outcomes.
