About The Position

Wesley Court Assisted Living Community is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services for residents. In partnership with the Director of Nursing (DON), the ADON will be responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the DON, the ADON assumes responsibility for clinical operations.

Requirements

Currently licensed as an LPN in the state in which you are practicing
Professional image in both appearance and behavior
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred

Responsibilities

Supporting and carrying out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and total needs of the residents.
Partnering with the Director of Nursing (DON) to be responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services.
Directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State and The Company standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Assuming responsibility for clinical operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON).
