Generations at Applewood in Matteson, Illinois, is hiring a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), also described as Clinical Services Supervisor. The listed salary is $110,000–$115,000, depending on qualifications and experience, with a starting salary described as $110,000–$115,000. Work hours are weekdays, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., with on-call coverage every other weekend. The ADON collaborates with the Director of Nursing and supports clinical care delivery, team management, staff education, and nursing systems.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Long-term care experience and knowledge of skilled nursing facility (SNF) regulations.
• Proficiency with Point Click Care (PCC).
• Leadership and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and peers.
• Compassion, tolerance, and understanding for older adults.
• Willingness to be on call every other weekend.
• Skilled nursing facility or LTACH management/supervisory experience is specified in the posting; hospital experience is not the experience sought.

Nice To Haves

• ICU or ventilator experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON), also identified as Director of Clinical Services.
• Ensure care plans are implemented and delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
• Manage the clinical team, develop programs, and provide education to staff.
• Plan and evaluate nursing systems, rotations, and methods.
