About The Position

Caring Place Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support clinical excellence and lead our nursing team. This role involves assisting the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily operations, supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a positive environment for residents, families, and staff.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current LPN or RN license in the State of Ohio
Current CPR certification
Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and nursing practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Compassionate, calm, and resident-focused approach to care

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily operations of the nursing department
Supervise and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, CMAs, and CNAs
Ensure compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations
Support the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
Monitor quality of care and identify opportunities for improvement
Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations of nursing staff
Provide clinical guidance and support to staff, including care planning and documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, resident-centered care
Promote a positive, supportive environment for residents, families, and staff
Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations
