Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, our ADON is responsible for training, scheduling, and guiding the clinical team toward delivering exceptional care experiences. This role involves conducting initial assessments of prospective residents, performing wellness assessments, and developing individualized care plans. The ADON also delivers health promotion services, offers disease prevention counseling, and provides self-care education. Key aspects of the role include engaging with residents and family members compassionately, fostering communication with physicians and healthcare providers, contributing to quality assurance, and participating in continuous learning and development. The position also requires strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy regulations.
