Requirements

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Licensed as a Registered Nurse as indicated in State law
Licensed to practice in the State of practice.
Minimum two years’ experience as a Licensed Registered Nurse.
Behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and support daily nursing operations to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Mentor, coach, and supervise nursing and behavioral health staff.
Partner with the Director of Nursing to maintain clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and operational workflows to support patient needs.
Oversee medication management, pharmacy coordination, and nursing supply inventory.
Monitor infection prevention practices and conduct quality assurance audits.
Coordinate admissions, discharges, transfers, laboratory services, and continuity of care.
Ensure accurate clinical documentation and compliance within AVATAR.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and external healthcare partners to provide seamless patient care.
Support emergency preparedness and maintain safe staffing during critical situations.
Assist with specialty programs, including Vivitrol coordination, as assigned.
Serve as the Director of Nursing in their absence when needed.
