About The Position

CareOne at Essex Park is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing for their facility in Beverly, Ma. This role offers a balance between life and work in a long-term care, short-term rehab, and skilled nursing environment. The compensation ranges from $112,000 to $125,000, based on experience, qualifications, credentials, and other relevant information.

Requirements

• At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.
• Currently licensed as RN in state of practice.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of one year of long-term or acute health care experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in the management of the nursing department to maintain quality standards of care.
• Provide consultation to medical staff, department heads, and Administrator in matters related to nursing service.
• Provide input into the interpretation of nursing philosophy and assist in establishing departmental goals and objectives.
• Assist the Director of Nursing with regulatory compliance.
• Ensure effective communication strategies with all levels of nursing staff to promote effective care delivery.
• Promote positive employee relations, strong customer service ethic, and commitment to ongoing staff education and training.
• May exercise direction over the department in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
• Ensure the integrity of educational programs offered within the facility.
• Identify current employees to be mentored into both personal and career advancement towards leadership positions within the corporation.
