About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our skilled nursing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse leader who is passionate about quality care, staff development, and clinical excellence.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered RN license required
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to foster a positive and team-oriented work environment
- Passion for resident-centered care
Nice To Haves
- Previous leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily operations of the nursing department
- Support and mentor nursing staff to ensure exceptional resident care
- Monitor clinical outcomes and regulatory compliance
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Assist with staff scheduling, education, and performance management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve positive resident outcomes
- Support survey readiness and regulatory compliance efforts
- Serve as a clinical resource for residents, families, and staff
