Assistant Director of Nursing RN (ADON)
About The Position
The RN Assistant Director of Nursing assists the Director of Nursing in administering, directing and coordinating all activities of nursing services, to ensure we are meeting the nursing needs of the residents. Requirements
- Must be an RN.
- Prior tenure in a facility that has obtained good state survey results.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the aspects of managing a skilled nursing unit.
- Possesses strong ethical values.
- Ability to model MRC's ICARE values of integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
- Assists the Director of Nursing in administering, directing and coordinating all activities of nursing services.
- Ensures nursing needs of the residents are met.
- Leads the infection control and employee health programs.
- Monitors and establishes processes which result in five star clinical care.
- Assumes duties of the Director during his/her absence.
