About The Position
NHC HealthCare Greenwood is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. Qualified candidates with a background in geriatrics and nursing administration are encouraged to apply. The ADON supports the Director of Nursing in administrative and managerial responsibilities, including oversight of care delivery and staff development within the Nursing Department.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; currently licensed as an RN in South Carolina
- Experience in geriatric nursing
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills in a clinical setting
- Ability to assist the Director of Nursing with departmental responsibilities as needed
Responsibilities
- Supports the Director of Nursing in administrative and managerial responsibilities
- Oversight of care delivery
- Staff development within the Nursing Department
