Requirements

Active RN license in the state of Missouri.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) minimum.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related setting, with supervisory experience highly preferred.
Strong understanding of geriatric nursing principles and best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Commitment to resident-centered care and a positive, collaborative work environment.
Proficiency in relevant nursing software and documentation systems.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Responsibilities

Partner with the Director of Nursing to plan, organize, develop, and oversee the daily operations of the Nursing Services department.
Champion resident-centered care, ensuring all services comply with state and federal regulations, best practices, and Foxwood Springs' established policies.
Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Oversee specific areas of the department, such as infection control, quality improvement, or staff development.
Participate in resident care assessments, treatment planning, and care coordination.
Act as a liaison between residents, families, physicians, and other departments.
Maintain a high level of professional knowledge and competence through continuing education.
