The Salmon P. Chase Center for Civics, Culture, and Society at The Ohio State University is seeking an Assistant Director for K-12 Education. This role is a senior strategic leadership position focused on K-12 engagement and the advancement of citizenship education. The Assistant Director will develop and direct the Center's long-term K-12 strategy, serving as the primary resource for K-12 initiatives, partnerships, policy engagement, and program development. This position collaborates with the Executive Director, Center leadership, faculty, university leaders, and external stakeholders to advance the Center's mission and national influence. The role involves shaping the Center's impact on classical and liberal education and citizenship education through strategic partnerships, policy engagement, thought leadership, academic program development, and recruitment initiatives. The Assistant Director will represent the Center in national forums, develop influential partnerships, and provide strategic recommendations. This position is accountable for advancing initiatives that strengthen the Center's reputation, visibility, and impact.
