About The Position

This role is for someone who is good at the clinical side of ABA but also genuinely enjoys the operational part of the job. As the Assistant Director of Insurance-Based Services, you will carry a reduced caseload while spending the bulk of your time making the region work better. This involves coaching BCBAs and RBTs, ensuring quality assurance, answering insurance-related questions, and supporting the clinical team. You will manage a reduced client caseload while supporting behavior analysts and program managers across the region through periodic service reviews, staff observations, running monthly region-wide meetings, and serving as the point person for insurance policy questions. Operationally, you will monitor staff schedules, help maintain insurance documentation, create adherence timelines and fidelity checklists, and meet with prospective families. You will also collaborate with the COO on community partnerships and communicate policy updates to clinical staff and clients. You are expected to identify issues and propose solutions.

Requirements

  • BCBA certification.
  • Graduate degree.
  • At least some administrative experience.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Clear communication skills across clinical and administrative teams.
  • Ability to keep many moving pieces organized.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with insurance-based service environments is a real advantage.
