About The Position
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office has an opening for Assistant Director-Human Resources. We are looking for someone who can provide strong HR leadership and assist with all human resources functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
- Minimum three years' supervisory experience in Human Resources
Responsibilities
- Scheduling, reviewing and evaluating the activites of the Human Resources staff
- Administrative support through analysis and various assigned projects
- Assisting District Commanders and Supervisors in personnel matters
- Administering and monitoring all agency matters concerning the Family and Medical Leave Act and Light Duty/No Work Status
- Oversee the agency's Drug Free Workplace Policy
- Assists in recruiting and promotional efforts
