The Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life at Penn State is seeking an Assistant Director for Community Development & Belonging. This role involves advising and leading chapter and council development, as well as community and belonging initiatives. The purpose of Fraternity & Sorority Life at Penn State is to support the university's mission, strengthen scholarship, build character and integrity, promote brotherhood, sisterhood, and siblinghood, develop leadership, engage the community through service and philanthropy, and affirm personal and organizational responsibility. The position reports to the Associate Director for Community Development & Belonging and will support chapter leaders, advisors, and local house corporation personnel within a community of approximately 70 chapters and 4 distinct councils. This position offers a flexible work arrangement combining remote and on-campus work, and requires a willingness to work flexible hours to support night and weekend activities.
