About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Assistant Director of Finance (ADOF) to assist the Director of Finance in leading the hotel's day-to-day financial and accounting operations. The ADOF will provide leadership and support across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Income Audit, cash management, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This position will work closely with the Director of Finance, General Manager, department heads, and Finance team to ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient financial operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in hospitality.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
  • Experience with journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Workday or other financial systems preferred.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hotel environment.
  • Hands-on hotel finance professional who can take ownership of daily financial operations while working closely with the Director of Finance and hotel leadership.
  • Proactive, organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.
