Four Seasons is seeking a talented Assistant Director of Engineering to join their team and contribute significantly to the reopening of their newly remodeled resort in Santa Barbara. This role will provide assistance to the Director of Engineering in all aspects of resort and building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint, and decorating. The position requires responding to inquiries and problems efficiently, courteously, and professionally to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while adhering to Four Seasons' policies. The Assistant Director will also be involved in hiring, training, supervision, scheduling, counseling, and performance evaluation of maintenance staff, ensuring the proper execution of the work order/request system, and implementing preventive maintenance schedules. Additionally, they will prepare purchase requisitions and work orders, liaise with the Director of Purchasing, and maintain logs for stock items and tools.
