About The Position

Advise students, families, and school counselors on admissions policies, procedures, academic programs, and financial support opportunities. Conduct school visits, host information sessions and events designed for target audiences, attend education fairs to increase the visibility of NYU Abu Dhabi and meet prospective students, and support the recruiting efforts of NYUAD's global partnership with the Institute of International Education. Lead in the cultivation of relationships with key constituents in schools, community organizations, and governmental agencies in assigned regions. Play an integral role in evaluating and recommending applicants for admission to NYU's campuses, with a primary focus on the evaluation and selection of candidates for NYU Abu Dhabi. Serve as a member of the Global Undergraduate Admissions Team, contributing to the development, training and implementation of our international credential review process. Develop and provide guidance to NYU’s tri-campus admissions staff on international credentials. International and domestic travel, and evening and weekend work, will be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of university admissions or related experience.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to market NYU independently.
  • Extensive travel and weekend hours required.
  • Driver’s license required.
  • Familiarity with online application review technology (Slate) and ability to evaluate a high volume of applications for admissions.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years Experience evaluating international credentials.
  • Experience recruiting students for a highly selective liberal arts and sciences college.
