The Assistant Director of Admission is responsible for devising effective territory management and promoting John Carroll University through various activities. This includes traveling to educational institutions and events, engaging in targeted outreach and follow-up, and managing daily correspondence for lead generation and cultivation. The role involves frequent communication with prospects, applicants, and admitted students to encourage campus visits, applications, and enrollment deposits. Event planning and data analysis are key components, as is developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in educational and community organizations. The position requires managing a specific recruitment territory, hosting stakeholder events, and attending professional development opportunities to enhance brand awareness. Strategy development for community relations and college access support is also a responsibility. Additionally, the Assistant Director will organize and administer a travel grant program, assess candidates for admission, conduct group presentations and individual meetings, and manage merit scholarship review and financial aid awarding for students within their recruitment territory. This includes serving as the main point of contact for specific scholarship processes and communicating award revisions. Financial aid counseling is also part of the role.
