Loudoun County is seeking an Assistant Director to oversee land acquisition functions for the Real Property Asset Management and Planning Office. The Office develops and implements plans for acquisition, disposition, leasing and management of real property assets that support the County's Capital Improvement Program, future real property needs, office space requirements, and public-private partnership opportunities. Real property acquisition and disposition include properties and easements for both facilities and right-of-way projects. For right-of-way and other projects, the Office is responsible for compliance with federal, state and county laws, ordinances, regulations, and processes regarding the use of the County’s eminent domain authority. This position also leads the Office’s efforts around real estate market intelligence, negotiation, due diligence, and coordination with legal and financial teams, with respect to real property transactions and management for facilities, right-of-way, and easements and license agreements that align with County objectives, both short and long term.
