About The Position

This role involves processing, reviewing, recommending, monitoring, and submitting proposals related to employees and the agency. Key responsibilities include managing benefits such as medical, retirement plans, Family Medical Leave Act, disabilities, worker's compensation, ADA, and vacation/sick time. The position also entails handling the Applicant Tracking System and the overall hiring process. Additionally, the Assistant Director will supervise the functions of Human Resources in the absence of the Chief Human Resources Officer.

Requirements

  • Experience with employee benefits administration (medical, retirement, FMLA, disabilities, worker's comp, ADA, vacation, sick time).
  • Proficiency in managing an Applicant Tracking System.
  • Experience with the hiring process.
  • Supervisory experience or potential.
