About The Position

This position’s primary responsibility will be to produce creative content for Jacksonville Athletics social media, web content and help shape the creative direction of the department. This position would feature video production, with an expectation to also provide photography as well.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop, Audition, After Effects)
  • Emphasis on organizational ability to be able to multitask with several projects going at one time
  • Strong collaborative mindset, to work closely with the other members of the External Team and coaches
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • One year of work in an athletic department creative team or comparable experience

Responsibilities

  • Social media content creation and platform management
  • Heavily involved in strategic planning of all creative content
  • Utilize, catalog and maintain equipment used for creative purposes
  • Develop relationships and pursue stories with external constituents
  • Work hand-in-hand with coaching staffs to craft creative direction and shape brand recognition
  • Web content support
  • Brand consistency/style guide adherence
  • Collaboration with athletic communications staff on gameday coverage
  • Expectation to work with all 17 sports on campus
  • Other duties as assigned
