About The Position

The Assistant Director, Executive Programs at Sloan Executive Education will model best practices in operational policies, processes, and procedures to ensure the quality and integrity of open enrollment program delivery. This role involves managing program teams for complex open enrollment, custom, or institutional programs, serving as a point of contact for program coordinators, and providing input into their performance reviews. The Assistant Director will manage a portfolio of open enrollment programs, leading program logistics and traditionally designated program director responsibilities. This includes developing and managing program operations planning and milestones for both on-site and digital deliveries, collecting and publishing program information, identifying and supervising vendors, scheduling sessions with faculty, and collaborating with faculty on program content and design updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of two years of administrative experience
  • Demonstrated interest in program content
  • Ability to quickly get acquainted with the content of the programs in one's portfolio
  • Ability to articulate main ideas and discuss the program at a high level
  • Ability to spot content-related issues during program delivery and seek director assistance
  • Ability to balance and deliver both logistical and program director responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with Institute faculty, clients, and participants
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Model best practices in operational policies, processes, and procedures for open enrollment program delivery.
  • Manage program teams assigned to complex open enrollment, custom, or institutional programs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for and assist program coordinators before, during, and after program deliveries.
  • Provide input into performance reviews of program coordinators.
  • Manage a select portfolio of open enrollment programs, leading program logistics and program director responsibilities.
  • Lead the development and management of program operations planning and milestones for on-site and digital deliveries.
  • Collect program information and materials for timely publishing and distribution via print, email, and web.
  • Identify and supervise vendors (hotel, catering, AV, printing, etc.).
  • Schedule sessions with faculty.
  • Work with faculty to manage program content and design updates.
