About The Position

The Assistant Director of Continuing Education Operations provides operational leadership for the college’s Continuing Education (CE) Registration and Accounts Receivable units. This position ensures the accuracy, integrity, and security of Continuing Education academic records; manages Continuing Education registration and enrollment operations; oversees tuition billing and student account processes; and leads a cross‑functional team committed to exceptional student service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Must have at least 3 years successful work experience in business, continuing education, accounting, finance, or related area.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing budgets and understanding financial operations.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory and management experience, preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with records, registration, enrollment services or similar
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FERPA and higher education compliance
  • Experience managing data integrity and student information systems
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with community college operations, policies and student populations
  • Experience with billing, payment processing, refunds, collections, and aging report
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to a student-centered service model
