About The Position
Diagnostic Imaging is a vast and diverse department consisting of X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI and Mammography, Nuclear Med and bone density. Our technicians and DI assistants work together to provide a safe and efficient experience. Although the individual disciplines are located throughout the BGH campus...efficiency, skill and patient focused care remain constant. Our Diagnostic Assistants are in integral part of the team and work hard to keep schedules and the department running smoothly. Our assistants our cross-trained in all areas. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Current BLS (AHA) certification or within 6 months of hire
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a medical environment
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians and DI assistants to provide a safe and efficient experience.
- Keep schedules and the department running smoothly.
- Cross-train in all areas of Diagnostic Imaging (X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Med, bone density).
