About The Position

The Assistant Designer, Special Projects supports the design and development of the brand’s special initiatives, including VIP projects, brand collaborations, and limited‑scope special programs. This role is ideal for an early‑career designer eager to gain hands‑on experience across high‑visibility projects while working closely with senior design leadership. The Assistant Designer will contribute to concept development, design execution, and day‑to‑day project support, while building a strong foundation in cross‑functional collaboration and brand‑focused design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accessories design, internships included.
  • Exposure to handbags, small leather goods, or accessories design.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software and tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and eagerness to learn new processes.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative, positive working style.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design process for VIP projects, brand collaborations, and special initiatives under the guidance of the Senior Designer.
  • Assist with special projects tied to marketing initiatives, holidays, and brand events.
  • Contribute design work across categories including handbags, small leather goods, and specialty accessories.
  • Support the design and development of the fragrance category, assisting with research, concept development, and executional details.
  • Create and update design assets such as sketches, CADs, presentations, and line sheets.
  • Assist with sample reviews, updates, and communication with Product Development and cross‑functional partners.
  • Help track timelines, comments, and deliverables to support on‑time execution of projects.
  • Conduct trend, market, and competitive research to support creative development.
