This role supports the management and duties of store operations to meet financial and sales goals. The Assistant Deli Bakery Manager builds associate and customer relations, promotes a strong culture in support of Food Lion's Strategy, and maintains solid communication with the management team, all associates in the store, and throughout the organization. This position involves managing the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager, supervising associate performance, and managing daily labor to achieve productivity expectations. The role also requires providing leadership and motivation to foster a culture reflective of the Brand Strategy and Culture, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining department appearance, quality, variety, safety, food safety, and sanitation.
