Assists the Recreation Services Manager and Daycare Director in the planning, organization, development, and supervision of the programs and functions of the District’s before and after school programs. This role involves the daily supervision of staff and activities at the site, disciplining children, and meeting with parents to discuss District policies, respond to queries, and resolve issues. The Assistant Day Care Director maintains safe, secure, clean, and orderly classroom and playground environments, performs administrative duties to support site operations, plans and implements age-appropriate curriculum, assists Head Teachers, Teachers, and Teacher Aides, represents the program with community groups, and performs special projects as assigned.
