This position supports the Dance Coordinator in the management and growth of a dynamic dance program offering more than 60 weekly classes. The ideal candidate will support the Dance Coordinator with the management of the SBDCRC School of Dance. The dance program includes 60+ weekly classes, two recitals, two picture days, festival performances, National Honor Society for Dance Arts Junior and Secondary chapters, summer camps and summer intensives. This role celebrates skills in creativity, organization, time management, leadership and an understanding of dance education.

Requirements

8th grade education
0-12 months of related experience

Nice To Haves

5 or more years of dance teaching experience
2 or more years of administrative experience
10 or more years of formal dance training
Lead instructor experience
Dance teaching certification
Degree in Dance or related field

Responsibilities

Support the Dance Coordinator in the management of the SBDCRC School of Dance.
