About The Position

This role is responsible for being the advocate for our guests and consistently meeting their expectations by providing a friendly, helpful, easy, and safe shopping experience. The Assistant Customer Service Team Leader is responsible for projecting a professional image and maintaining a neat and clean work area at all times. This position involves supervising the Guest Service area and ensuring the accurate processing and reporting of daily/weekly cash and sales activities.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Must be reliable.
  • Must show a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to read and write at the 8th grade level.
  • Basic Math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, make eye contact and thank each guest that you service.
  • Deliver a friendly, helpful, easy, and safe shopping experience that meets our guests’ expectations.
  • Project oneself in a professional manner in accordance with our dress code and personal grooming policy.
  • Work in a safe manner and maintain a neat and clean work area at all times in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Supervise the Guest Service area.
  • Maintain the maintenance of all cash controls related to sales, currency, miscellaneous sales, and miscellaneous income.
  • Accurately process and report on daily/weekly cash and sales activities.
  • Schedule, train and coach Guest Service teammates to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our guests.
  • Maintain cashier control reports and office security in accordance with all company policies and procedures (LISA – Look InSide Always / BOB – Bottom of Basket).
  • Count and record all monies from cashiers according to company policies and procedures, record and process bank deposits.
  • Ensure that the Guest Service area and related items are properly secured while working and at the end of each shift.
  • Communicate new policies or promotional programs to our guests.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
