About The Position
This role is for an Assistant Customer Service Manager and is intended for individuals 21 years or older. The position involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers, ensuring reliable attendance, and performing duties of a checker and customer service person. The Assistant Customer Service Manager will also assume the responsibilities of the Customer Service Manager when they are not on-site, supervise checkers and baggers to optimize checkout efficiency, and create schedules for baggers, checkers, U-scan, and the service center to ensure adequate coverage. Additionally, the role includes performing all service center duties such as utility payments, lottery, cash drawer audits, and store safe management. Other duties may be assigned by store management. Training will be provided at the store level.
Requirements
- 21 years or older to apply
- Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
- Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates
- Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
- If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance

Responsibilities
